"Laolongkou " liquor was initially set up in 1662 of the Qing Dynasty and has a long history of more than three hundred years up to date. Because the factory is located in the eastern part of Dragon City of shengjing(now Shenyang), old capital of the Qing Dynasty, the liquor was thereby called "Laolongkou" liquor. There is an ancient well inside the factory with its anima, the water of which is usually called "Longtan Water". The water quality of such well is both limpidity and sweet and is appropriate for brewing liquor. Brewed samshu is sweet-smelling and full-bodied in vault, sweet and clean with long after taste. At the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, produced samshu was sent to the imperial court and army. The praise of "toast encouraged the warriors in the "Eight Banner" if the Man nationality in the Qing Dynasty" is made known extensively.

Having experienced the tremendous changes for over three hundred years, "Laolongkou" has presently developed into a large size samshu brewage enterprise with big production scale in the country, strong economic strength and high level of science and technology. In Oct,2002, Shenyang Laolongkou liquor Factory has set up with Singapor T&C Company a joint venture --- " Shenyang Tianjing Laolongkou Brewage Co.,Ltd. " And become the first samshu joint venture among the samshu industries all over the country. At present, the factory's products have formed five seriex such as samshu,nutrient and restorative liquor, fruit wine, mineral water and seasoning drink and more than forty varieties in which "Laolongkou" vintage ranks the first among the "famous liquor of Liaoning province". Many products have won various honorary titles on the liquor and foodstuff expositions in provinces and cities and at home and abroad. In the meantime, the factory's products have passed the ISO9001certification with its system of product quality and assurance.

Bouquet draws the interests of painters or calligraphers. The bookmen and scholars, leading scholars of the times in painting and calligraphy circle highly praise "Laolongkou Liquor" as "welling-out spring water and top-quality wine and heavenly thick liquid spitted by the dragon", The honest and great-heated elders and local people are in deep love with Laolongkou liquor". The unbroken feelings of people outside Shanhaiguan for Laolongkou are kept in the cups of Laolongkou liquor". The sentimentally attached feeling of the northeastern elders and local peoples for Laolongkou liquor is included in such liquor.
